Ingham, MI (April 15, 2024) – The Michigan Department of Transportation notify the police and firefighters that they were needed at the scene of an automobile accident that occurred on Sunday morning, April 14.
According to police reports, at around 11:05 a.m., a collision occurred on the southbound side of Highway 99. The incident blocked all lanes of the road, prompting the closure of the highway between Interstate 496 and Moores River Drive. Emergency crews remained at the scene for a significant amount of time while working to clear the road. EMS responded to the crash site to evaluate the involved parties. Victims who required further medical attention were transported to local hospitals. The accident is under investigation.
