Portage, MI – Pedestrian Injured in Crash on S Westnedge Ave

Portage, MI (April 11, 2024) – A pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Portage area on Monday evening, April 8.

At around 610 p.m., a 2016 Jeep Patriot was traveling south on South Westnedge Avenue. As the vehicle approached the area near East Milham Avenue, it collided with a pedestrian. The pedestrian was injured in the accident. The victim was transported to Bronson Hospital, where they were admitted in critical condition. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
