Macomb Co., MI (April 10, 2024) – A dirt bike rider lost their life as a result of a crash reported in Macomb County on Monday evening, April 8. The incident occurred at around 8:45 p.m.
According to official reports, a 55-year-old man from Imlay City was driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck southbound on Brown Road. As his vehicle traveled into the northbound lane of the roadway, it collided with a dirt bike head-on near Reid Road. The dirt bike rider, a 53-year-old man from Romeo, was severely injured. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased from his injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was charged with drunken driving charges. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
