Wayne, MI – Accident with Injuries on I-94 near Cadieux Rd

Wayne, MI (March 30, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested to provide help at the scene of an automobile accident that occurred on Thursday evening in Wayne County. The Michigan Department of Transportation reported the accident at around 5:55 p.m. on March 28.

Official reports indicate the vehicles collided on the eastbound side of Interstate 94. The incident blocked multiple lanes of the roadway near Cadieux Road, which resulted in stop and go traffic extending back from Exit 223 to Exit 220. Firefighters and police work to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. Medical personnel tended to the injured victims on site. At least one person was transported to an area hospital for further medical care following the accident. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
