Monroe, MI – Fatal Crash on N Telegraph Rd Takes One Life

Monroe, MI (March 25, 2024) – The Michigan State Police confirmed that a woman from Toledo, Ohio, lost her life as a result of a fatal collision that occurred on Saturday evening in Monroe. The police and firefighters were called to the scene of the accident at around 7:00 p.m. on March 23.

According to official reports, a 53-year-old woman was driving a Toyota Camry south on North Telegraph Road. For unknown reasons, her vehicle collided with the Chevrolet Silverado near Indian Trail Road. The driver of the Camry sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was immediately pronounced deceased. The driver of the Silverado and three passengers in the Camry were all injured. The victims were transported by ambulance to area hospitals for emergency care. The crash is actively under investigation.
