Bridgeport Charter Twp., MI (March 24, 2024) – The Michigan State Police and area firefighters were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred late Friday evening and ended in injuries. Just before 10:10 p.m., authorities were summoned to the scene of an accident that occurred on Dixie Highway.
According to official reports, a collision blocked several lanes of the roadway near Fort Road during the evening hours. Authorities arrived at the scene and immediately closed down the highway while removing the involved vehicles. Emergency medical services responded to the crash scene to care for the injured parties. At least one person was transported to an area hospital for further medical care. The accident is currently being investigated.
