Ottawa Co., MI (March 21, 2024) - A man suffered critical injuries as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in Ottawa County on Wednesday, March 20. At around 2:00 p.m., the Ottawa County Sheriff’s office and firefighters were called to the scene of an accident on US Highway 31.
Preliminary reports show that a van and a semi-truck tractor-trailer collided on the northbound side of US Highway 31 near Felch Road. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the damaged vehicles blocking the road. Authorities immediately secured the roadway to prevent further damage. One man involved in the accident, identified as a 37-year-old from Holland, was severely injured. He was rushed to an area hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
