Macomb, MI (March 17, 2024) – On March 16, emergency crews were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Macomb that ended in injuries. At around 1:15 a.m., an automobile accident occurred on Interstate 94.
Preliminary investigations show that the westbound side of the interstate was blocked in the area near Shook Road due to an automobile collision involving an unknown number of vehicles. Emergency officials responded to the scene and immediately shut down the road. Emergency medical services tended to those harmed while on site. An unknown number of victims were transported to area hospitals, where they underwent further medical care. At this time, the Michigan State Police are investigating.
