Monroe Co., MI – Auto Wreck Reported on US-24 near M-50

Monroe Co., MI (March 8, 2024) – Emergency crews across Ann Arbor were summoned to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Thursday evening and ended in injuries. The Michigan Department of Transportation reported the accident at around 7:10 p.m. on March 7.

According to area law enforcement, a collision occurred on the northbound side of US Highway 24, Telegraph Road. The incident blocked several lanes of the roadway near the area of Michigan 50, Custer Road. The crash prompted the closure of the roadway, allowing the police and firefighters to remove the involved vehicles. Medical personnel responded to the scene to render aid to those harmed before transporting them to area hospitals. Investigations into the crash are currently ongoing.
