Detroit, MI (March 8, 2024) – Major delays were reported on the eastbound side of Interstate 696 after a collision occurred at 5:53 p.m. on March 7, just after the Southfield Road at the exit for 11 Mile Road.
The crash, which resulted in the blockage of the left shoulder, left lane, and center lane, has caused significant traffic delays in the affected area. Emergency officials responded to the scene of the accident and immediately closed off a portion of the roadway. Emergency medical services tended to the injured parties while at the scene.
