Cadillac, MI – Man Killed in US-131 Truck vs Pedestrian Crash at MM 184

Cadillac, MI (March 7, 2024) – The Michigan State Police and Wexford County Sheriff’s office responded to the scene of a deadly collision that occurred on Tuesday morning, March 5. The accident occurred at approximately 7:45 a.m.

According to law enforcement reports, a semi-truck tractor-trailer struck a pedestrian on US Highway 131 near mile marker 184. Law enforcement responded to the scene and immediately shut down the highway while assisting. The pedestrian was fatally injured as a result of the accident. Emergency officials pronounce the victim deceased. He was later identified as a 40-year-old man from Cadillac. Investigations into the accident are ongoing.
