Kent Co., MI (February 29, 2024) – The Michigan Department of Transportation informed police and firefighters that they were needed at the scene of an automobile accident in Kent County. Authorities were summoned to the crash site at around 12:25 p.m. on February 28.
Law enforcement reports indicate that the left lane on the northbound side of US Highway 131 was blocked as a result of an automobile accident that occurred near 68th Street. Authorities arrived at the scene and closed off the roadway near Exit 76 while removing the involved vehicles. Injured victims were treated at the scene briefly and transported to area hospitals for further medical care. The incident is under investigation by law enforcement at this time.
