Macomb, MI – Three Injured in Crash on 26 Mile Rd at Gratiot Ave

Macomb, MI (February 24, 2024) – The police and Macomb responded to the scene of a major accident that left several victims injured. The collision was reported at around 4:10 p.m. on February 22.

Reports from the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office indicate that a collision occurred on 26 Mile Road at the intersection of Gratiot Avenue. Airbags in at least one of the vehicles deployed. MedStar in multiple EMS units out of Richmond and Lenox responded to the crash to assist.

A 34-year-old female, a two-year-old female, and a 59-year-old female all suffered injuries in the accident. The 34-year-old and the two-year-old child were both transported to St. John Moross Hospital. The 59-year-old woman was transported to McLaren Macomb Hospital for emergency treatment. At this time, the Macomb County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
