Kochville, MI (February 16, 2024) – The police and firefighters were called to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident that occurred on Thursday morning in Kochville. The accident was reported to law enforcement at approximately 8:20 a.m. on February 15.
According to local law enforcement, a vehicle and a train collided on Tittabawassee Road near Lawndale Road. The incident resulted in one vehicle catching on fire. The Saginaw Township Police Department, Saginaw County Sheriff’s Department, Saginaw Township Fire Department, and MMR all responded to assist. Emergency officials responded to the scene and closed off some of the roadway. Medical personnel tended to the victim on site before transporting them to an area hospital. The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated at this time.
