Oakland, MI – Injury Accident Reported on I-696 near Evergreen Rd

Oakland, MI (February 12, 2024) – Emergency officials were requested at the scene of a car crash in Oakland County that ended in injuries. The incident was reported to law enforcement at around 6:30 a.m. on February 11.

According to Michigan Department of Transportation reports, a traffic incident occurred on the eastbound side of Interstate 696. The incident prompted authorities to close off the roadway near Evergreen Road. The involved vehicles came to rest, blocking the right lane and right shoulder, causing delays in the area.
