Washtenaw Co., MI (February 11, 2024) – Emergency officials out of Washtenaw County were called to the scene of a car crash that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. The accident was reported by the Michigan Department of Transportation at approximately 5:30 p.m. on February 9.

According to official reports, a collision occurred on the northbound side of US Highway 23. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway after Geddes Road. Delays were reported in the area as emergency crews remained on site extensively. At least one person sustained injuries in the crash. The victims were treated at the scene and transported to area hospitals. The accident is being investigated by law enforcement.
