Washtenaw, MI – Auto Accident on US-23 near M-14 Ends in Injuries

Washtenaw, MI (February 9, 2024) – The Michigan Department of Transportation confirmed that a motor vehicle accident took place in Washtenaw County. The incident occurred at approximately 7:00 p.m. on February 8.

Official reports indicate that vehicles collided on the northbound side of US Highway 23. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway between Michigan 14 and North Territorial Road. The Michigan Department of Transportation reported extensive delays in the area as emergency crews closed off the roadway. At least one person was injured and transported by ambulance to a local hospital for medical care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
