Grand Rapids, MI (February 8, 2024) – The Michigan State Police confirmed that a major motor vehicle accident took place on Wednesday morning and ended in injuries. Troopers were requested at the scene at approximately 7:30 a.m. on February 7.
Crash reports indicate that a blue SUV and two additional vehicles collided on Michigan 37 near 17 Mile Road. The incident caused severe delays in the area as emergency crews closed off the roadway while clearing debris and vehicles from the scene. Medical personnel responded to the scene of the collision to treat injured victims and transport them to area hospitals. At this time, the Michigan State Police are investigating the incident.
