Calvin Twp., MI (February 7, 2024) – The Cass County Sheriff’s office confirmed that a 71-year-old man from Lakefort, Michigan, lost his life as a result of an explosion that took place on Monday, February 5.
Law enforcement reports indicate that an explosion took place in the 19,000 block of Bulhand Street. Authorities confirmed that two men were working on a tank at an oil pumping station owned by Trak Oil Company of Port Huron when it exploded. One man was fatally injured as a result of the incident. The second demand, identified as a 38-year-old, was treated for injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
