Wexford Co., MI (February 6, 2024) – A 67-year-old woman was hospitalized as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday afternoon, February 4. According to reports provided by the Michigan State Police, a vehicle entered the off-ramp of US Highway 131 near Exit 177. While traveling in the wrong direction on the roadway, the GMC Terrain became involved in a collision with a Dodge Ram pickup truck, which was traveling southbound.
One person involved in the accident, identified as a 67-year-old woman from Lake City, Michigan, was injured. She was transported to Munson Hospital in Cadillac for the treatment of injuries. Authorities shut down the roadway while removing debris and vehicles from the scene. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
