Oakland, MI – Lodge Freeway Crash near Lahser Rd Ends in Injuries

Oakland, MI (February 6, 2024) – The Michigan State Police and firefighters out of Oakland were requested at the scene of a car crash that took place during the evening hours on Monday and ended in injuries. Authorities were notified of the collision at approximately 5:20 p.m. on February 5.

According to area law enforcement, a collision occurred on the northbound side of Lodge Freeway. The incident blocked the left lane of travel near Lahser Road, causing some delays in the area. The Michigan Department of Transportation confirmed that the accident shut down the road for a significant amount of time as emergency crews worked to clear the scene. At least one person sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The police department is investigating the incident.
