Ann Arbor, MI (January 29, 2024) – The Michigan State police and firefighters out of Monroe County were called to the scene of a car crash that occurred on Sunday morning and ended in injuries. The Michigan Department of Transportation notified officials at approximately 9:10 a.m. on January 28 that they were needed at the scene of a crash on US Highway 23.
Crash investigations show that vehicles collided on the northbound side of the highway near Lloyd Road. The crash led the police and firefighters to close off a portion of the road while extending assistance. Emergency medical services were called to the scene to attend to the injured. At least one of the people involved in the crash was transported to an area hospital for further medical attention. An investigation into the collision is currently underway.
