Ann Arbor, MI (January 29, 2024) – At around 9:00 a.m. on January 28, emergency officials were called to the scene of a crash that occurred in Washtenaw County and ended in injuries. The incident prompted the response of the Michigan State police, firefighters, and EMS.
According to the Michigan Department of Transportation, a collision occurred on the southbound side of US Highway 23. The incident blocked multiple lanes after North Territorial Road. Authorities responded to the scene and shut down the roadway near exit 49 as they worked to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. At least one person was injured and transported to a local hospital, where they underwent further medical care. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
