Oakland, MI (January 27, 2024) – The Michigan Department of Transportation informed area officials that they were needed at the scene of a car crash that took place during the afternoon hours on Friday, January 26. The crash took place at approximately 2:00 p.m.
MDOT reports indicate that a collision occurred on the southbound side of Interstate 75. The accident caused some disruptions in the area near 12 Mile Road. The police and firefighters shut down a portion of the roadway while working to remove the involved vehicles. Medical personnel tended to victims. Victims who required further medical treatment were transported to local hospitals. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
