Jackson, MI (January 27, 2024) – A multi-vehicle accident reported in Jackson County resulted in injuries. The accident occurred at approximately 5:40 a.m. on January 26.
According to official reports, an automobile accident involving three vehicles, including the semi-truck, took place on US Highway 127. The incident prompted authorities to close off a portion of the roadway near Floyd Road. One person was trapped inside their vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. Emergency medical services tended to the injured victims and transported those who required further medical care to area hospitals. At this time, the crash is under investigation.
