Riley Twp., MI – One Killed, Two Hurt in Crash on Bordman Rd

Riley Twp., MI (January 23, 2024) – Two people were injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident that took place in St. Clair County and claimed one person’s life. The accident occurred during the evening hours on January 21.

According to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, a motor vehicle collision occurred on Boardman Road near Wales Ridge Road. The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles to go into a pond off the roadway. Authorities arrived at the scene and located a 2023 Ford F250 pickup truck with three people inside. The vehicle came to rest on its roof in the pond, with one person trapped inside.

One of the involved parties was ejected from the vehicle. Two of the victims were transported to McLaren Port Huron for emergency care. One additional victim suffered fatal injuries. The victim was recovered by a dive team and transported to McLaren Macomb Hospital, where he died from his injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
