Macomb, MI (January 22, 2024) – Emergency crews out of Macomb County were called to the scene of an automobile accident that took place during the morning hours on Sunday, January 21. Calls for help came in at around 9:30 a.m.
According to official reports, an automobile accident took place on Michigan 53 in the area near Van Dyke Avenue. The incident prompted authorities to close down the roadway just south of 28 Mile Road. The incident caused delays in the area near Greenfield Collision as emergency crews worked to clear the scene. Injuries were reported in the accident. Medical personnel responded to the site of the crash to care for the injured victims. Those who required further medical attention were transported to local hospitals. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
