St Clair Co., MI (January 9, 2024) – At around 6:20 a.m. on January 9, the Michigan State Police, firefighters, and emergency medical services out of St Clair County were all summoned to provide assistance on-site at a motor vehicle accident.

According to area news sources, a collision involving an unknown number of vehicles occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 69. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway between Michigan 19 and Riley Center Road. The Michigan Department of Transportation reported some delays in the area as emergency crews remained at the scene extensively to assist. At least one person was transported to a local hospital, where they underwent treatment for the injuries they suffered in the crash. Investigations into the accident are currently ongoing.
