Lyons Twp., MI – Injury Accident at Struble Rd & E Bluewater Hwy

Lyons Twp., MI (January 8, 2024) – At least one person was hospitalized with injuries following a crash that took place in Ionia County on Saturday evening, January 6. Calls for help came in just before 9:40 p.m.

Reports from the Michigan Department of Transportation show that both the eastbound and westbound sides of East Bluewater Highway, Michigan 21, were shut down as a result of a major motor vehicle accident that took place near Struble Road. Police and firefighters responded to the scene to provide assistance with removing the involved vehicles from the road. Emergency medical services responded to care for the injured victims. Those who required further medical care were transported to local hospitals. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
