Livingston, MI – Injuries Reported in I-96 Auto Wreck near M-59

Livingston, MI (January 8, 2024) – Law enforcement personnel across Livingston County responded to the scene of a car crash that occurred on Sunday evening, January 7.

According to reports provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation, an automobile accident blocked several lanes on the westbound side of Interstate 96 in the area just after Michigan 59 at around 6:15 p.m. The incident prompted authorities to close down the right lane of travel as they worked to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. Emergency medical services were summoned to care for those harmed as a result of the crash. Injured victims were transported by ambulance to local hospitals for further care. The accident is currently being investigated by law enforcement.
