Cheboygan, MI (January 7, 2024) – On Saturday, emergency crews were requested to provide help at the scene of a car crash that occurred in the Cheboygan area. The accident occurred at around 6:15 p.m. on January 6.
According to official reports, a collision between vehicles blocked the north and southbound lanes on Interstate 75. The crash prompted authorities to shut down the roadway near mile marker 330 while assisting. Crews remained on-site extensively as they worked to restore the flow of traffic and remove the involved vehicles from the lanes of the roadway. EMS responded to care for those harmed. The injured victims were transported to area hospitals, where they underwent further medical care. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
