Bellevue Twp., MI – Crash Reported on I-69 after M-78 Ends in Injuries

Bellevue Twp., MI (January 7, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident was reported in the Bellevue Township area on Saturday afternoon that ended in injuries. The police, firefighters, and EMS were all notified of the crash at around 2:50 p.m. on January 6.

Official reports from the Michigan Department of Transportation show that vehicles collided on the northbound side of Interstate 69. The incident prompted authorities to shut down the roadway just after Michigan 78, Butterfield Highway. Delays were reported in the area as crews from across Eaton County went to work on clearing the roadway. At least one person sustained injuries in the crash and was transported to a local hospital for further care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
