Oakland, MI (January 6, 2024) – Emergency crews out of Oakland County were summoned to the scene of a major crash early Saturday morning that ended in injuries. Calls for assistance came in at around 1:55 a.m. on January 6.
Official reports provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation indicate that the three left lanes of travel were blocked on the northbound side of the Lodge Freeway just after Lahser Road. The incident prompted authorities to shut down the roadway as they provided assistance in removing the involved vehicles. Emergency medical services were summoned to care for those harmed while on site and to transport those who required further medical attention to area hospitals. At this time, investigations surrounding the cause of the motor vehicle accident are being performed.
