Saginaw, MI – SPD Responds to Injury Crash at Salt St & Vermont St

Saginaw, MI (January 4, 2024) – At least one person was injured as a result of an automobile accident that took place in Saginaw on Wednesday evening, January 3. The Saginaw Police Department and Saginaw Fire Department were dispatched to the scene of the crash just before 5:40 p.m.

Reports from the police indicate that a collision occurred on Vermont Street in the area near Salt Street during the early evening hours. One of the involved vehicles crashed into a tree as a result of the incident. Emergency medical services rendered aid to the injured victims while on site. An unknown number of people were transported by ambulance to area medical facilities, where they were provided further care. The crash is actively under investigation by the Saginaw Police Department.
