Madison Heights, MI (January 4, 2024) – The Michigan State Police and firefighters out of Madison Heights were called to the scene of an automobile accident that occurred in Oakland County. Officials received notification of the crash at approximately 3:45 p.m. on January 3.

Crash reports indicate that a collision occurred on the eastbound side of Interstate 696 near Interstate 75. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway for nearly 45 minutes as emergency crews worked to remove the involved vehicles.
