Saginaw, MI – Accident Reported on Shattuck Rd near Bay Rd

Saginaw, MI (January 2, 2024) – On December 31, the Saginaw Township Police Department and area firefighters were called to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident that sent at least one person to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

At approximately 8:55 p.m., a collision took place on Shattuck Road in the area near Bay Road. The incident prompted the police and firefighters to close down the intersection as they worked to remove the involved vehicles from the roadway. Emergency medical services responded to care for those harmed. The injured victims were transported to local hospitals, where they underwent emergency care. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated.
