Stevensville, MI (January 1, 2024) – The Michigan State Police out of Kent County responded to the scene of an automobile collision in the Stevensville area. Law enforcement was notified of the crash at around 6:45 p.m. on December 29.

According to state police reports, a motor vehicle accident blocked the left lane of travel on the westbound side of Interstate 94. The incident caused delays in the area near Exit 23. The Michigan Department of Transportation reported a closure on the roadway as emergency crews worked to remove the involved vehicles. Emergency medical services technicians responded to the site of the accident to care for those harmed. The injured victims were transported by ambulance to local hospitals. The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently under investigation.
