Bay City, MI – Car Crash with Injuries at Broadway St & Lafayette Ave

Bay City, MI (December 30, 2023) – Bay County officials were requested to provide assistance at the scene of a major motor vehicle accident that occurred on Friday evening and ended in injuries. At around 520 p.m. on December 29, calls for help came in regarding a crash on Broadway Street.

Crash reports indicate that a red van and a black SUV collided on Broadway Street near Lafayette Avenue. The incident prompted authorities to close down the intersection as they provided assistance with the removal of the involved vehicles. At least one person was injured and had to be transported to a local medical facility, where they underwent further care. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
