Macomb, MI (December 28, 2023) – A multivehicle accident reported in Macomb County sent an unknown number of people to area hospitals with injuries. The accident was reported to law enforcement at around 6:30 p.m. on December 27.

According to reports provided by local news sources, multiple vehicles collided on Hayes Road in the area near 23 Mile Road. The incident prompted authorities to close down Hayes Road between 23 Mile Road and Kingsway Drive as they worked to remove all of the involved vehicles from the scene. At least one of the people involved in the crash suffered injuries that required further medical care. The victims were transported to area hospitals for further care. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated by law enforcement.
