Grattan Twp., MI – One Killed in Car Crash on 6 Mile Rd NE

Grattan Twp., MI (December 27, 2023) – A fatal accident reported in Kent County claimed one person’s life. The accident was reported at around 10:30 a.m. on December 24.

According to reports provided by the Kent County Sheriff’s Office, a red Chevrolet Impala was traveling west on 6 Mile Road Northeast. As the vehicle proceeded through the intersection of Lincoln Lake Avenue, it collided with a Buick Enclave, which was traveling northbound on the roadway. Two people in the Buick, identified as the 54-year-old female driver and a 77-year-old female passenger, were both transported to area hospitals with injuries. The Chevrolet driver, identified as a 46-year-old woman, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on site. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
