Jackson Co., MI (December 25, 2023) – The Michigan State Police confirmed that two people died as a result of a head-on collision that occurred on Sunday morning, December 24. Calls for assistance were received by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 2:30 a.m.
According to official reports, a collision involving two vehicles took place on Spring Arbor Road just past the area of Reynolds Road during the early morning hours. Both of the vehicles involved in the accident sustained heavy front-end damage. Two people were trapped in the first vehicle. The victims, a 22-year-old woman from Jackson, Michigan, and a 25-year-old from Jackson, Michigan, were both rushed to area hospitals. The 22-year-old woman passed away after arriving. The driver of the second vehicle, a 21-year-old woman from Dimondale, Michigan, died while at the scene. The Sheriff’s office is currently investigating the incident.
