Grand Rapids, MI (December 25, 2023) – A fatal accident reported in Grand Rapids on Sunday claimed one person’s life. The collision was reported at approximately 2:55 a.m. on December 25.

According to local law enforcement, a vehicle collision took place on the southbound side of US Highway 131. The force of the collision caused one of the vehicles to overturn near 54^th Street. Two people involved in the crash were ejected from the vehicle. One of the victims was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
