Macomb, MI (December 24, 2023) – A speeding motorist caused a major motor vehicle accident in Macomb early Saturday morning that resulted in injuries. The accident was reported at around 215 a.m. on December 23.
According to local law enforcement, a BMW was traveling in the area of 9 Mile Road and Kelly Drive during the early morning hours. For unknown reasons, a speeding vehicle crashed into the BMW, causing the two vehicles to strike a pole off the roadway. One person in the second vehicle was severely injured in the crash and rushed to an area hospital for emergency treatment. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
