Wayne, MI – Lodge Freeway Accident near 7 Mile Rd

Wayne, MI (December 23, 2023) – Emergency officials were summoned to provide assistance on-site at a motor vehicle accident in Wayne that ended in injuries. The crash occurred during the early morning hours on Saturday, December 23.

At around 4:35 a.m., the Michigan State Police responded to a crash that occurred on Lodge Freeway, blocking multiple southbound lanes on the roadway. The incident caused delays in the area near 7 Mile Road as crews worked to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. Medical personnel responded to care for those harmed. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries. The crash is currently under investigation.
