Grand Rapids, MI (December 23, 2023) – Emergency officials out of Kent County were called to the site of an incident in Alpine Township. Authorities were requested at the scene at approximately 2:30 p.m. on December 22.
According to reports, authorities were summoned to the site of an incident in the 4800 block of Stage Avenue Northwest. Firefighters arrived at the residence and located three individuals unresponsive inside. The victims, identified as an 81-year-old woman, an 86-year-old man, and their 61-year-old son, were all fatally injured. The victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities believe that a carbon monoxide leak in the home caused the fatalities. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
