Washtenaw, MI – Injuries Reported in Auto Wreck on I-94 near BUS US-12

Washtenaw, MI (December 20, 2023) - The Michigan State Police responded to an automobile accident on Tuesday, December 19, that led to injuries. Calls for assistance came in at approximately 6:05 p.m.

According to state police reports, a collision involving an undisclosed number of vehicles blocked several lanes on the eastbound side of Interstate 94. The crash caused severe delays near Business US Highway 12. The incident prompted authorities to close down a large portion of the roadway as they provided assistance. At least one person sustained injuries and was transported to a local medical facility, where they underwent emergency care. The state police are currently investigating to determine what caused this accident to take place.
