Grand Rapids, MI – Accident on M-44 near I-96 Ends in Injuries

Grand Rapids, MI (December 20, 2023) - Officers with the Michigan State Police responded to the scene of an automobile accident that occurred on Tuesday who will and ended in injuries. Police officers were notified of the crash just before 6:40 p.m. on December 19.

According to official reports, vehicles collided on the northbound side of Michigan 44 in the area near Interstate 96. The crash caused delays on East Beltline Avenue as the police and firefighters out of Kent County worked to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. At least one person was injured in the accident and transported by ambulance to a local hospital for emergency care. At this time, the state police are investigating the collision.
