Washtenaw Co., MI – Auto Accident Reported on US-23 near Plymouth Rd

Washtenaw Co., MI (December 16, 2023) - A motor vehicle collision reported in Washtenaw County sent at least one person to a local medical facility for the treatment of injuries. The accident was reported by the Michigan Department of Transportation just before 5:00 p.m. on December 15.

MDOT reports indicate that vehicles collided on the southbound side of US Highway 23. The crash caused severe delays after the exit for Plymouth Road, Exit 41. Emergency officials responded to the scene and shut down a portion of the roadway as they provided assistance. Emergency medical services cared for the injured victims while on site. Those who required further medical care were transported to local hospitals. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
