Kent Co., MI (December 14, 2023) - The Michigan State Police responded to the scene of an automobile collision that took place on Thursday evening and ended in injuries. Calls for assistance came in at around 630 p.m. on December 14.

According to law enforcement reports, a vehicle collision took place on the southbound side of US Highway 131. The incident blocked several lanes in the area near Exit 81 at 28^th Street. Emergency officials responded to secure the roadway as medical personnel tended to the injured victims, and the police and firefighters worked to remove the damaged vehicles. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for emergency medical care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
