Grand Rapids, MI – Injuries Follow Collision at US-131 & Franklin St

Grand Rapids, MI (December 14, 2023) – At least one person was injured as a result of a car crash that occurred in the Grand Rapids area. The accident was reported just before 4:45 p.m. on December 13.

According to local law enforcement, a collision between vehicles blocked the northbound side of US Highway 131. The incident caused some traffic disruptions throughout the area as emergency officials worked to remove damaged vehicles from the right shoulder of the roadway near Franklin Street. Medical personnel responded to the scene of the collision to render aid to those harmed. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
